Steiger 4x4 Tractor Walkaround

Join me on a short walk around of a tractor I've thought was cool since I was a kid. I don't know a lot about Steiger tractors but here’s a quick version of online info: The company was started in the 1950s by two Minnesotan brothers and production was moved to Fargo, ND in the late 60s. In 1986 Steiger was purchased by CASE IH and later Italy’s FIAT. You can find the Steiger name associated with New Holland, Ford, Allis-Chalmers, RABA, & AmTrac. Repowered versions are available and many different versions of the 4WD tractor have popped up over the years. Ive seen different models and power plants before but as many of you know; Im a fan of Cummins and that eye-catching lime green and square styling gets me every time.

I won't bore you with a bunch of chatter commentary on this video, just some cheerful background music as we peek around the huge tractor together.

Note: I don't know the owner of this machine so I respectfully didn't touch anything or go inside. (though I wanted to)

Hopefully you get a kick out of big old machines like I do. They still make me feel like a kid, and that's magical.
