Ford tractor (Fordson) started production in 1907 and established production facilities in many countries of the world. Continuing to produce in Dearborn, Michigan, where he was born, from 1907 to 1928, Henry Ford continued to produce Fordson tractors in Cork, Ireland (1919-1932) and Dagenham, England (1933-1964), respectively.

These tractors were produced even in 1924 in the city of Leningrad. In Turkey, on the other hand, Ford tractors were put on the market in the early 1970s and it is possible to see models such as Ford 3600, Ford 4600, which are still working in many cities of Anatolia. Ford tractor, which has many models, bought Sperry-New Holland company in 1986 and changed the name of the company to Ford New Holland. At that time, New Holland produced skid steer loaders, hay equipment and baling vehicles.

Ford New Holland tractor and agricultural vehicles manufacturing company was purchased by Italian automotive giant Fiat in 1993 and the company updated the name of the company it bought as New Holland. The New Holland company still operates in the CNH Industrial group, in which Fiat is a partner.

Other companies within the body of CNH Industrial are; Case IH, Steyr, Case Construction Equipment, New Holland Agriculture, New Holland Construction, Iveco, Astra, Iveco bus, Heuliez bus, Magirus, Iveco Military Vehicles, FPT Industrial. The date known as 1917 in most sources applies to Fordson. The actual date is 1907 as Henry Ford & Son Ltd., as the company was first established. Ford was founded on June 16, 1903 in Dearborn, Michigan.
