Working the soil is the main requirement for a successful harvest. Especially in terms of Fertilizer Regulation and the elimination of pesticides, the issue of tillage has started to gain importance again. Here, tillage is covered under the following subsections: stubble tillage, basic tillage and seedbed preparation.

The purpose of stubble tillage is to promote the germination of seeds and weeds, break capillarity and evenly distribute crop residues. In basic tillage, the soil is loosened to allow the roots of the next crop to grow comfortably. The preparation of the seed bed prepares the leveling and the place for a healthy emergence of the seed.
