There's been a lot of tensegrity projects floating around the internet so I figured I'd do my own take. I wanted to make this one rigid enough that it could actually function as a table and safely hold up a heavy glass top. I used 3" square tubing for most of the construction and a 1" threaded rod to make the tensioning mechanism.
This is not an exhaustive set of plans, just some more info I put together after building it to help you out if you want to try to replicate this table. Feel free to do whatever you want with these drawings.
