Like all agricultural machinery manufacturers, Fiat also tried to steadily increase its market, its dealer networks and thus its sales. The cooperation with the Hesston Corporation from Kansas (USA) should pay off for both sides. Today the two brands no longer exist in that sense. You can read in this article whether the cooperation was still a success.

Hesston - The hay and harvest specialist
The Hesston company, from the town of the same name in the US state of Kansas, specialized in the production of machines for making hay and silage as early as the early 1960s. In addition to mowers and windrowers, the Hesston Corporation program also included machines for littering straw and machines for recovering silage and hay. The highlight of the program was a series of self-propelled forage harvesters and swaths. The versatile product line, in connection with the high quality standards, were ideal conditions for Fiat to gain a foothold in the American market and to be able to offer a top-class range of harvesting machines. For this reason, Fiat took over the majority stake in the Hesston group in 1977.
