THREE STRATEGIC AREAS
"There are 3 important strategic areas in the globalized world today. Food tops them. The other two areas are water and energy. The most important condition for people to live a healthy life is possible with safe food. When we look at developed countries, we see that they produce by purchasing or leasing in other countries, as well as on their own territory.
HERE ARE THOSE FOUR COMPANIES
According to research conducted, 203 million hectares of land were either purchased or leased by international companies in this context. These companies are owned by the UK, America, China, India and Israel. The land these companies lease or buy is mainly in African countries, Brazil, Indonesia and Laos. Almost all of the world's agriculture is in the monopoly of 4 major international companies. These firms manage 75 percent of the grain trade. These firms are Cargill, ADM, Bunge and Louis Dreyfus.
